Sunday Morning

Sunday morning Gio escaped from the house and found a huge freezing puddle and took off all of his clothes and started splashing around. Actually, I only found out later when my neighbor told me because Zeke and I were snoozing at the time. Danny took a bunch more funny pictures and videos (like him laying in the middle of the puddle) but he's too naked in them. I guess he took a little naked bike ride too. Later, he took a warm bath to warm off he said (like cooling off I guess). Also, Danny won a new iPod shuffle in a raffle at school. It's tiny.

Time Warp Slide

We have this cool slide at our zoo, you go in your age and come out 26 years older. Gio is a little Danny, for sure.

Brotherly Love

Zeke loves Gio so much. Last night in the tub Zeke was belly laughing just because Gio was letting Zeke kick him. All Gio has to do is look at Zeke or say hi to him and he smiles. In the top picture Gio wanted to wear Zeke's diaper so I put Gio's undies on Zeke. Zeke was really into reading a book because he got to lay down in Gio's bed with him.

Lompoc Triathlon

On August 12th we did a triathlon in Lompoc. Here are a few pictures. We all did pretty good. Emily won first place for being the best babysitter. Danielle DeMartini won first place in her division. When they found out that Danny was a boy they re-placed him and he actually got third in his division. Joslin got first and Dave and I got second even though Danny beat us all. They were giving free massages after the race and Gio got one. He was super tired and he just totally sat and relaxed for a few minutes. He almost fell asleep.

Triathlon

Here's a cute picture I came across of Danny, Dave and Gio wearing their triathlon medals at Emma Wood where Dave works. After I took this picture Danny went body surfing in the cold water without a wet suit on and Gio played in the sand.

Sunday

Sunday turned into Monday and I have no time to write. Here are some pictures.

Jalamas

Here are some more pictures from camping at Jalamas. We went with Logan and Doyle (and Andrew and Lizzy) pictured below. Gio loves nectarines, just like Danny does. We had fun camping, but that night the wind was so strong it was trying to blow our tent away. Zeke was on the end, but we had to switch places because he wasn't doing a good job holding the tent down. Gio is feeding Doyle a raisin in the last picture. Doyle is Gio's best friend who is moving to D.C. tomorrow. We are going to miss them a lot.

Little Devil

I hope this outfit still fits him at Halloween. He is growing so fast. Danny said he would make a pitchfork and tail to go with it.

Big Sur

Big Sur

This is a waterfall we walked to on our Big Sur trip. It was really cold, but Danny, Christian and Gio got in anyway.

Zeke

Here are some of Zeke. He is getting so big. He is really good at rolling over and can sit up with just a little help. He loves to talk and he is super duper ticklish. All you have to do is touch him anywhere on the tummy or legs and he laughs. He has a pretty good belly laugh. We call him Bayzeke, because that is how Gio says Baby Zeke. He is really friendly and smiles at everyone. These three pictures are all from our camping trip to Jalamas.

Mohawk

We got Gio excited about having a mohawk because our good friend Ryan has a super long mohawk. Gio really liked it. I have since buzzed him and I really miss his hair.
